Santa Lucia Feast in Sorrento 2025
The Feast of Saint Lucia in Sorrento continues to be an identifying event, capable of uniting spirituality, traditions and popular participation. The 2025 program confirms the desire to safeguard a community heritage which, for generations, has accompanied the life of the neighborhood and strengthens the sense of belonging to its history.
12 Dicembre: Torchlight procession and lighting of the Ceppone
The eve opens as per tradition with two symbolic events:
- Community torchlight procession
- Lighting of the traditional Ceppone, an ancient popular rite that recalls light and devotion towards the Saint.
These moments officially inaugurate the celebrations, creating a climate of reflection and collective participation.
13 dicembre: Santa Lucia
On the day dedicated to Saint Lucia, the parish offers a very broad calendar of religious functions:

XLVII Sausage and Porchetta Festival
Like every year, the festival will be enriched by the historic Sausage and Porchetta Festival, now in its 47th edition.
The gastronomic event, hosted in the parish field “L’Incontro“, represents a highly anticipated moment of conviviality, capable of bringing together families, residents and visitors.
Free vision check
In honor of the Saint, protectress of sight and light, this year too a free eye check will be offered, available to those who wish to book in the sacristy.
