The Living Nativity Scene of Fornacelle returns for the 10th Edition, part of the exhibition L’incanto del Natale, where the community comes together to offer an exciting and spiritual representation of Christmas. The event offers a historical re-enactment of Bethlehem from over 2000 years ago, with characters in period costumes, ancient crafts and faithful settings. Thanks to the commitment of volunteers of all ages, the living nativity scene becomes an opportunity to share and celebrate the true Christmas spirit.
Fornacelle living nativity 2025 in Vico Equense: information
The Fornacelle living nativity scene will be held at Torricella on 26 and 27 December and then from 1 to 6 January 2026. The event which will involve the entire hamlet of Vico Equense will be an accurate historical re-enactment of Bethlehem from over 2000 years ago.
- There will be 3 car parks and 1 motorbike park
- Entrance will be free from 6pm to 9pm
- Accessibility for people with disabilities will also be guaranteed.
Living Nativity Program
During the living nativity scene event, a series of special and interactive moments were organized to make the visit an even more fascinating and immersive experience. The aim of the organizers is to involve visitors in a unique way, enriching the atmosphere and making the magic of the nativity scene even more alive.
During every evening, at the exit of the nativity scene, a tasting of typical Neapolitan zeppole will be offered.
26 dicembre: Inauguration of the nativity scene
The inauguration of the living nativity scene is scheduled for December 26, an event in which both the Bishop and the Mayor will participate. The inauguration will begin at 6:00 pm
6 gennaio: Arrival of the three kings at the hut of baby Jesus
On January 6th there will be the arrival of the Magi Kings, on horseback, to the hut of baby Jesus. With the arrival of the Three Kings, the living nativity scene will officially end.

The Living Nativity Scene is located in the charming village of Fornacelle, in the Torricella area.

Reach the nativity scene with the shuttle
- Cost: €1 (Free for children under 6 years old)
- Connection: Direct from the car parks to the entrance to the nativity scene.
- Availability: 8 mini-buses in service with runs every 15 minutes.
- Hours: Active from 5.15pm to 11pm.
- Car parks from which the shuttles depart
- A shuttle leaves from the Arola car park every 15 minutes and takes you to the entrance to the nativity scene in total comfort.
- A shuttle dedicated to buses (unattended) leaves from the Salesians car park in Pacognano and takes you to the entrance to the nativity scene in total comfort.
- The coach parking space is free but reservation is required via official channels (email, telephone or whatsapp), it is mandatory to specify the size and arrival time.
- The management suggests arriving in the first opening hours to ensure the best possible experience.
- The cost of the shuttle to the coach park is €2

It is also possible to reach the entrance to the nativity scene on foot, with a walk of approximately 8 minutes starting from via Raffaele Bosco.
