From 5 December 2025 to 6 January 2026 Piano di Sorrento celebrates Napul’ è Natale, a widespread program of free events involving squares, churches, schools and cultural places in the city. The program combines music, traditions, dance, literature, family shows, workshops, school initiatives and events dedicated to the area. Below is the complete calendar and three sections dedicated to Christmas activities, New Year’s week events and school shows.
Complete program for Christmas 2025 in Piano di Sorrento
The Christmas period culminates between 5 and 25 December with a wide range of events dedicated to music, tradition and families: the lighting of the tree in Piazza Cota, the Pink Christmas fair, the Sagra del Ceppone, concerts in the basilicas, Santa Claus’ House in Villa Fondi, the Santa Lucia bonfires and cultural initiatives such as the tango in Villa Fondi or the “Candlelight Notes” event.
A widespread calendar designed to offer activities throughout the month, both in the squares and in the cultural places of the city.
5 December: Lighting of the Christmas Tree in Piano di Sorrento

From 26 December to 11 January 2026, again as part of “Borghi e Casali 2025 – IV edition“, it will be possible to visit the nativity scenes included in the itinerary spread throughout the municipal area: a thematic walk among the nativity scenes of the villages of Piano di Sorrento.
Events of the New Year's week
From December 26th to January 1st the program focuses on shows, traditions and music. The itinerary of widespread nativity scenes offers a thematic itinerary in the villages, while on December 28th it brings puppet theater, stories and popular performances to the stage. The Cugini di Campagna concert (29 December) and “Pop Stars Christmas” (30 December) enliven the week preceding the new year. On January 3, the event resumes with the concert “Tra cielo e meraviglia“, a prelude to the official closing of the Epiphany.

School shows
Local schools are a central part of the 2025 edition of Napul’ è Natale. From mid-December concerts, plays, choral performances and educational workshops alternate:
- the Christmas Concert of the M. Massa school (15 December);
- the secondary school Christmas Carol (17 December);
- nursery school events dedicated to Christmas (18 and 19 December);
up to the Magical Christmas Village organized by the peer institutes.
A calendar designed to enhance students, teachers and families, integrating the school world into the city holiday program.
