But how to get to Sorrento simply and without stress? Here are all the different routes and possible alternatives: from train to ship, car to bus.
You just have to choose where you start.
Travel time varies by train type (direct and non-direct). With the “direct” (DD) train, it takes about 50 minutes, and with the “direct” 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Remember that the Circumvesuviana is a busy commuter train, and it is possible, therefore, that it will be very crowded. If you have a lot of luggage, you may have difficulty getting on and also there are no dedicated spaces and you may be forced to make the trip standing next to your luggage.
Stops are in Castellammare di Stabia, Vico Equense, Meta, Piano and Sant’Agnello, and Sorrento (in front of the Circumvesuviana station).
The route takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, barring traffic and traffic problems.
The bus operates every day except December 25 and January 1.

From the beginning of November until March, there are no runs on Saturdays and Sundays. Also, we advise you to avoid this means of transportation if the sea is rough, because the hydrofoil will probably not leave.

The cost of the toll gate is about €2.10.
As it is a busy road, it is advisable to avoid public holidays so as not to risk getting stuck on the highway.
The cost of the Naples-Sorrento ride is around €80.00 to €100.00 .
